As a language graduate, she first worked in continental Europe on events as diverse as trade shows, fashion shows and the Venice Film Festival. She moved to London and managed corporate events for international sports matches, music hospitality (eg. Madonna) and film premieres. This was also the heyday of the lavish corporate party where “money can’t buy” was often the number one priority. Times have changed. Kate now runs BEYOND, a corporate event agency offering project management, consultancy and training.
