Subscription Terms & Conditions
Your subscription contract will be fulfilled by Marcham Publishing.
There are three types of subscription:
- Annual digital subscription.
- Annual print & digital subscription
- Annual Corporate subscription
Your print subscription will start with the next available issue after purchase and will run for 6 issues. Digital subscriptions begin with the most recent issue. Corporate subscription start dates are mutually agreed between Marcham Publishing & the client.
We will deliver the magazines to the physical or email address provided by you when you place your orders. Subscriptions will start with the next available issue. Please allow up to two weeks for delivery from publication date. You agree that we will not be responsible for failure to deliver the magazines if you have supplied us with an incorrect address.
We reserve the right to dispose of incorrectly addressed envelopes and their contents without an obligation to refund you or any other person if they are returned to us and despite efforts to contact you we do not receive correct address details.
We will not be liable to you for any delay in delivery or non-delivery of magazines in the following circumstances:
- Where the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us.
- Where such delay or failure is due to circumstances beyond our control or the control of our sub–contractors and agents, including but not restricted to war, electricity power failure, utilities failure, failure of telecommunications links, failure of transport infrastructure, fire, flood, government act, act of God, legislative constraints, strikes, labour disputes or malicious damage involving employees.
- Our liability to you in the event of magazines being lost in despatch shall at our discretion, be limited to replacement of the most recent missing issue.
Change of address
To notify us of a change to delivery address or that you have left a company, you need to email firstname.lastname@example.org
Cancellations and refunds
Once purchased, no subscription is eligible for a refund within the minimum term (12 months).
Prices displayed on the subscriptions section of the website will prevail at all times in relation to orders placed on-line. Prices quoted on screen include delivery charges and taxes (where applicable).
Subscribers will make a one-off payment for the year and once your payment has been processed this enters you into a legal binding contract resulting in your contract being formed for an annual subscription.
If you are not using your own credit/debit card to pay for the subscription, you must ask the permission of the credit/debit cardholder before entering the payment details. By purchasing, you are confirming that you have obtained the express prior permission of the credit/debit card holder.
We use the personal and transactional information (e.g. name, address, e-mail address, credit card details) (“Personal Information”) you supply to us in order to fulfil your subscription order. On the online order form we will ask you about receiving details of our products and services and/or those of third parties which may be of interest to you. You should tick the relevant boxes to indicate whether or not you wish to receive such information.
We confirm that we use reasonable efforts to ensure that purchasing your subscription through us is completely safe and secure, but we shall not be responsible for any loss of data or any other loss in the event that such security is compromised. In particular, we will not be liable to you for any losses you may suffer as a result of unauthorised access by a third party to the personal or payment information you provide us. It is your responsibility to ensure the security of your own credit/debit card details to avoid unauthorised use by a third party.
If you pay using your credit card, debit card or PayPal account, your order is processed by PayPal. This is reputed to be one of the most secure online payment systems in the world. We would encourage you to read PayPal’s privacy statement to give you further information on how they use and keep your data safe.
Our Digital Subscriptions autorenew. The onus is on the user to cancel autorenewal in PayPal should you not wish to have your subscription autorenewed. We do not store credit card details, nor do we share customer payment details with third parties. Your bank or credit card statement will be processed under our company name, Marcham Publishing.
If you have purchased a Corporate Subscription (being a subscription for a number of your administrative staff) then the following terms and conditions apply in addition:
Corporate Users: Access will only be possible by signing in using your corporate email address. Users must log in via our website to gain access.
Corporate Use: Users may access and read the content for business purposes in the course of their role with the organisation purchasing the Corporate Subscription. This includes using our articles as a training resource and as a basis for discussion. However, content may only be shared with the subscription users purchased for. If you wish to use the Content beyond your Users (for example, copying and distributing clips of the content within or outside your organisation) then you will need to seek an appropriate licence through us in order to do so.
Payment for Corporate Subscriptions: You will be billed based on the number of users you specify for access. If you need to increase the number of Users, Marcham Publishing will confirm pricing for the additional Users at the time of request. Corporate Subscriptions will be invoiced in one invoice for your organisation issued annually in advance as confirmed with you. Invoices are due for payment prior to the subscription beginning.
These Terms and Conditions are subject to change.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. You hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts notwithstanding the jurisdiction where you are based.
These Terms and Conditions override any contrary terms or conditions published by us in relation to any order placed by you with us.
