Paivi Karjalainen

Dr Paivi Karjalainen is Principal Lecturer at HAAGA-HELIA University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki, Finland. She is the editor of Management Assistant 2020 report that was published in April, 2013. The report is based on findings from a research project that focused on the role of management assistants in future organizations. The publication also includes two reports written by students involved in the project as part of their studies. Paivi joined HAAGA-HELIA in 2009. Her teaching and research career was preceded by about 30 years in corporations, where she worked in various administrative, office services, project, sales and marketing, and partnership management roles.
