Heather G Bones

Heather Bones (nee Dziva) currently works as PA to Head of Metabolic Medicine section in the Faculty of Medicine at Imperial College where she has been for nearly 10 years. Prior to that she worked as a PA for the National Social Security Authority in Zimbabwe. After her A levels she trained as an Executive Secretary although she had aspired to study Accounting or Law! She is a Fellow of the Institute of Administrative Management and her current responsibilities include providing administrative support to clinical research teams and managing clinical scheduling for her boss’ private clinic at the Lindo Wing. Although Heather came from a non-scientific background, she found her work exciting and rewarding. Heather enjoys reading and because of this has developed her general knowledge including a bit of science and her favourite genre is crime fiction. Heather has a DipHE in Criminology and is a director at Organized Bizness Ltd, a corporate events management company where she hopes to become more involved and be her own boss.
